In a forest mushroom seminar we get know, forage and make a meal of the most common edible mushrooms from the Finnish forests.The goal is to become familiar with the most delicious mushrooms and to use them in delicious meals.
A mushroom seminar is a great day out from the office and an interesting glimpse of Finnish food culture for international visitors. No previous experience is required and even for an aficionado the day can be rewarding, specially if a sauna is used to wash away the pine needles afterwards.
Part two of the mushroom seminar familiarizes us with some less-used mushrooms and more special recipes.
